How time flies! It's hard to believe it was another year. At the end of the day, I always blamed myself that I should have held time harder in the small of my palm, as if that could have made time flow slower and my regret grow smaller.
But who can have time on hold? No one. In this way, time proves its fairness to all of us.
I have been preparing a novel, Roommates (《合住之众》), in the past year. Roommates started from an idea I came up with in May last year: how should people who don't get along live under the same roof? Then I developed Roommates based on this abstract concept little by little.
To me, Roommates is about the life confusion of modern people, especially the young. Roommates discusses friendship, relationship, residency, belonging, career. If you find it hard to handle these issues, the same as the characters in Roommates, I hope Roommates will be able to provide you with an answer. Or if not, at least a way to find it.
Today, I am thrilled to announce that a feature film adaptation of Roommates, also titled Roommates, is in pre-production and will be released in the near future.

时间过得这么快，又一年过去了，简直难以置信。每一天过去的时候，我都会感叹自己应该更加用力一点，把时间牢牢抓在手里，这样似乎可以让时间过去的慢一点，我的后悔也就少一点。
可是有谁能够抓住时间呢？没有任何人。这样看来，时间对于每一个人都是公平的。
过去的这一年里我在筹备一个小说，《合住之众》（Roommates），这个小说的开始于去年的五月份，我突然有了一个想法，那就是互相不喜欢的人应该如何住在一起。《合住之众》就是由这个抽象的概念一点一点的发展起来的。
对我而言，《合住之众》是一个关于现代人，特别是年轻人的困惑的故事，关于友情，关于爱情，关于居住，关于归属，关于求职。如果你也和《合住之众》里的角色们一样，对这些事情感觉到难以处理，我希望《合住之众》能够给你一个答案，或者至少，给你一个寻找答案的方法。
而今天，我非常激动的宣布，由《合住之众》改编的电影正在前期制作当中，并且不久之后会面世。
